I work primarily in oils on canvas in a variety of sizes. I am interested in creating work that is engaging for the viewer and has a sense of place or character that rewards longer or repeated viewing.
Current strands in my work follow:
- Location, local landmark Alexandra Palace features as a regular motif. More here >>.
- Reflections intrigue me, initially paintings that feature water in landscape, which has now developed into works where a glass plane facilitates both the outside and inside views at the same time. View this series>>

I have returned to painting in later life and have been developing my practice at the Essential School of Painting. I live and work in North London.
